Downloads – Littel Acorns
Created for students ages 18 months to 9 years, the Little Acorns Awards encompass the core elements of the Early Years Foundation Curriculum to give Preschoolers and Year R/1 children the very best start in dance. The recently added Primary level extends the Little Acorns provision through into Key Stage 1 to enable children in Year 2/3 to continue their progression through.
Little Acorns Dancing Together Awards
This is for those preschoolers who are coming into class with a grown up, taking lessons in ballet, tap, modern and/or street dance or similar.
There are 6 levels to cover the 2 year period students may spend in this stage (e.g: 18 months – 3 yrs old); Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and then Purple. There is also a fun Graduation Badge for when they move up into the ‘Pros’ class and come in without their grownup, regardless of how far through the awards scheme they’ve got.
Little Acorns Preschool Pros Awards
This is for those preschoolers who are coming into class by themselves, without a parent or carer, taking lessons in ballet, tap, modern and/or street dance.
There are 6 levels to cover the 2 year period students may spend in this stage (eg: 3 – 5 yrs old); Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and then Purple with a Graduation Badge for when they move out of the Preschool Classes, regardless of how far through the awards they’ve got.
Little Acorns Preliminary Awards
This is for those in roughly in Year R & Year 1 at school; the Preliminary Level as a transition from Early Years into Key Stage 1.
There are 6 levels to cover in this stage; Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and then Purple and of course there is a fun Graduation badge for when they move up. If three badges are earned a year this will take them the two years to complete (eg: 5 – 77 yrs old)
Little Acorns Primary Awards
This is for those in Year 2 or Year 3. There are 6 levels to cover the 2 year period students may spend in this stage (eg: 77- 97 yrs old); Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and then Purple and a Graduation Badge when they move up into the next class; regardless of how far they have got through the awards.
