Jazz Preliminary Awards
This is for those in Year R or Year 1. Equivalent to school aged children transitioning from the Early Years Curriculum in Key Stage 1.
Teachers who are following an examination syllabus will see a parallel standard in their syllabus; though the exact wording of the level varies from board to board, we have chosen to call this level Preliminary.
There are 6 levels to cover the 2 year period students may spend in this stage (eg: 5 – 7 yrs old); Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and then Purple.
Jazz Primary Awards
This is for those in Year 2 or Year 3. Equivalent to school aged children in Key Stage 1.
Teachers who are following an examination syllabus will see a parallel standard in their syllabus; though the exact wording of the level varies from board to board, we have chosen to call this level Primary.
There are 6 levels to cover the 2 year period students may spend in this stage (eg: 7 – 9 yrs old); Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and then Purple.

Aimed at students working towards their Level 1 or equivalent with any syllabus.
Jazz Level Two Awards
Aimed at students working towards their Level 2 or equivalent with any syllabus.
Jazz Level Three Awards
Aimed at students working towards their Level 3 or equivalent with any syllabus.
Jazz Level Four Awards
Aimed at students working towards their Level 4 or equivalent with any syllabus.
Jazz Level Five Awards
Aimed at students working towards their Level 5 or equivalent with any syllabus.
